Qarabag is close to completing the signing of a striker.
Idman.biz, citing Sportal.az, reports that the Agdam club has made significant progress in the Andre Clovis deal.
Qarabag has been in talks with the Brazilian forward for a long time. Reportedly, Clovis, whom Gurban Gurbanov wants to have at his disposal, has been convinced to join. It is even expected that the parties may reach a final agreement soon.
If the transfer goes through, it is possible that Qarabag could register him for the next stage of their European matches.
The 27-year-old forward is currently under contract with Academico Viseu, with his deal running until June 30, 2028. Over his career, Clovis has played for Internacional, Leixoes, and Estoril.
