Kyrgyzstan national team footballer Joel Kojo has spoken about his meeting with Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo.
This happened during the first half of the year when the Ghanaian-born forward was playing for Iran's Esteghlal club in the AFC Champions League, Idman.biz reports.
Kojo said on the "Lights Podcast": “I wanted to meet Cristiano Ronaldo. My team was set to play against Al-Nassr in the AFC Champions League. I really wanted to see Cristiano. We met, and it was a beautiful moment. After the game, he gave me his shirt. It was a great pleasure for me.
When I was in Ghana, I used to pray and ask to meet Cristiano and play against him. I asked God with all my heart: ‘I want to see Cristiano.’ And look, I saw him.”
