Former legends of Barcelona and Real Madrid will play two friendly matches.
This was announced on Barcelona's official website, Idman.biz reports.
The matches will take place on September 10 and 14, Baku time.
The first game will be held at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, and the second at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The latter is currently the home ground of Inter Miami, featuring former Barcelona players Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Luis Suarez, and Jordi Alba, and coached by Javier Mascherano.
Barcelona’s legends team will be managed by Albert Ferrer. It has been confirmed that Rivaldo, Adriano, Claudio Bravo, and Paulinho will take part. The full squad will be announced in the coming weeks.
These matches will be the eighth and ninth encounters between the Barcelona and Real Madrid legends. The most recent match took place this April in Toluca, Mexico. Previous matches were held in Beirut, Tel Aviv, Doha, Tokyo, Puerto Rico, and Mumbai, showing the global interest in these clashes.
