"We must absolutely show respect to our next opponent, Qarabag."
This was stated by Jeton Bekjiri, head coach of North Macedonia’s club Shkendija, when speaking about their UEFA Champions League third qualifying round opponent Qarabag after the away match against FCSB (2:1, first leg 1:0) in the second round, Idman.biz reports.
The coach spoke positively about the Agdam side: "They are a serious and well-organized team, just like FCSB. The most important thing for me and my players is to respect our form and give our maximum effort. What happens next will be determined on the pitch."
Shkendija and Qarabag will face each other in the third qualifying round of the Champions League. The first leg will be played on August 5 in North Macedonia, with the return leg on August 12 in Baku.
