The expert expressed confidence that the Agdam representative will showcase their game and secure qualification to the next round with a good result: “Without a doubt, we expect a stronger Qarabag on their home ground. Since it is the beginning of the season, I believe they were unable to play the football they wanted before. Therefore, this time we want to see a more fluent and organized performance. Nevertheless, the opponent is quite weak. Although they make a good impression as a team, their players’ individual skills are not at a high level. For this reason, the technical and tactical superiority of the Agdam club is clearly felt. However, as we saw in the first match, the opponent’s players occasionally created dangerous situations in front of Qarabag’s goal. At some moments, they were very close to scoring. Similar situations may likely occur in the match in Baku as well. That is why it is essential for our team to perform with full concentration and discipline. After this match, we should already start thinking about the next opponent.”
It should be noted that the Qarabag vs. Shelbourne match at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium will start at 20:00. The winner of this tie will face the winner of the FKSB (Romania) – Shkendija (North Macedonia) tie in the third qualifying round.
