International assistant referee Sevda Nuriyeva has received another appointment from UEFA.
Our compatriot will serve as an assistant referee in two matches of Group 1 during the first qualifying round of the UEFA Women's Champions League, Idman.biz reports.
Nuriyeva will first assist Maltese head referee Jo-Anna Vassallo in the semifinal match between “Flora” (Estonia) and “Riga” (Latvia) on July 30. On August 2, she will be part of the officiating team led by Slovenian head referee Tjasa Misja for the third-place match between the semifinal losers of the group.
All matches of Group 1 will be held at the “Achille Hammerel” stadium in Luxembourg.
