“Sabah” demanded 53,000 manats from their departing goalkeeper Yusif Imanov.
Idman.biz reports that this information was provided by the player’s lawyer Eljan Hasanli to Sportal.az.
He stated that “Sabah” demanded 53,000 manats in compensation from Yusif Imanov: “This amount corresponds to the salary the player is supposed to receive from Sabah for the upcoming season. We, as the other party, are demanding the same amount to be paid by them. So both parties have claims. It seems the process will continue, and during this time, there is no obstacle for Yusif to sign with another club.”
The issue will first be reviewed by AFFA’s Players’ Status and Transfers Committee. Afterwards, it may be taken to the AFFA Arbitration Tribunal. If the decision is unsatisfactory to either party, the final instance will be CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport).
