Another change is taking place at AFFA.
Idman.biz, citing Futbolxeber.az, reports that Elnur Mammadli, who has headed the Information and Public Relations Department for the past two years, is leaving his position.
AFFA's management has decided not to extend Mammadli's contract, which expires on July 29.
He was appointed as the head of AFFA’s Information and Public Relations Department on July 30 two years ago.
Mammadli’s replacement has already been confirmed. It is Murad Akhundov, who recently joined AFFA. He will officially start his duties on August 1.
Akhundov previously served as the press officer at Keshla (now Shamakhi) and was invited to AFFA at the request of Secretary General Jahangir Farajullayev.
