Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres of Lisbon’s Sporting is close to officially completing his transfer to Arsenal.
Renowned journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano shared the news on social platform X, Idman.biz reports.
It is reported that all the details of the Swedish forward's contract, including documents for special add-ons worth a total of 10 million euros, are being reviewed by the lawyers of both Arsenal and Sporting. It is noted that a medical examination will be scheduled immediately after the official transfer. There are no issues with the deal, and a full verbal agreement has already been reached.
Previously, Romano stated that the deal, excluding bonuses, would be worth €63.5 million.
Last season, Sporting’s striker played 52 matches in all competitions, scoring 54 goals and providing 13 assists. His contract with the club runs until the summer of 2028.
