Ramil Sheydayev, whom "Neftchi" wants to part ways with, may continue his career in Turkiye.
Idman.biz, citing Apasport.az, reports that Sheydayev, whom coach Samir Abasov does not want in the squad, is on the transfer list of "Serik Belediyespor."
The club, which will compete in the Turkish First League, is interested in acquiring Ramil’s services. The key point is that the new owner of the Antalya-based team, Tufan Sadigov, who is originally from Azerbaijan, is positive about having Azerbaijani players on the team.
The club has already signed Sartan Tashkyn, a former member of the national team. Sheydayev will need to be convinced on financial terms. If that happens, Ramil will transfer to "Serik Belediyespor."
Otherwise, he will stay at "Neftchi," where the financial conditions are better.
The 29-year-old player’s contract with "Neftchi" runs until June 30, 2027.
