The specialist shared his thoughts on the match that Baku-based Zira will play today against Croatian side Hajduk: "One of the strengths could be the weather conditions. It’s quite hot. In my opinion, excluding the wingers, this is the best Zira we’ve seen in recent years. They have a solid defense and midfield. These are our strengths. We know the opponent tends to play rough. That’s also the case in the Croatian league. Hajduk received four red cards in the last five or six rounds. I think this could work in Zira’s favor."
According to Bagirov, if Zira’s players can provoke the opponent, it could have a major impact on the result: "Hajduk is a historic club. They have strong attacking lines. Set pieces are their main goal-scoring weapon."
