Zamiq is one of our key players. He received offers from several clubs, but official offers are another matter."
Idman.biz reports that this was stated by Kledy Zenelay, the sports director of Albania's club Egnatia, in an interview with Apasport.az.
The club official said that the transfer of Azerbaijan national team defender Zamiq Aliyev to the Ukrainian club Veres did not materialize, and the player will remain at Egnatia: "The Veres issue was real and on the agenda. But he will not move to Veres. As of now, the transfer to the Ukrainian club did not go through, and he stayed at Egnatia. What will happen later will be shown by time. The main issue is financial; Veres could not pay the amount required for Aliyev. In any case, Zamiq is our player, and time and future offers will show what happens next."
Zamiq has been representing Egnatia since July of last year.
