The president of the Argentine Football Association, Claudio Tapia, has announced the first trial decision regarding the partial return of away team fans to the national championship.
İdman.biz reports that away fans will be allowed to attend today’s match between Lanus and Rosario Central.
For now, this decision is not being implemented on a large scale and is only of a trial nature.
Since 2013, away fans have been banned from entering stadiums in Argentina. This decision was made due to repeated riots and violent incidents among fans, including the deaths of two supporters before the Boca Juniors, San Lorenzo match and the killing of a Lanus fan during clashes with police at the Lanus, Estudiantes game.
