Ramiz Mammadov has been relieved of his duties as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shamakhi FC.
According to information received by Idman.biz from the regional representative, this decision was made due to Mammadov’s appointment as head coach of the First League club Mingachevir.
The specialist, who had served as deputy chairman since 2022, was also appointed head coach of the main team for the 2023/24 season. Under his leadership, Shamakhi won the First League championship and returned to the Premier League.
He has been replaced in this position by former national team player Vali Gasimov, who has served as head of the club’s youth development program for the past three years.
