Qarabag finalizes another transfer move.
Idman.biz, citing Sportinfo.az, reports that the Azerbaijani champions have reached an agreement with Samy Mmaee.
The Dinamo Zagreb centre-back is already in Baku.
The Moroccan-born Belgian is set to undergo a medical today. If no issues are found with his health, an official announcement is expected later in the day.
The 28-year-old central defender joined Dinamo last summer as a free agent from Hungarian side Ferencvaros.
A product of Gent’s academy, Mmaee has also played in Belgium for Standard and Sint-Truidense.
He has also had a stint in the Netherlands with MVV Maastricht. Mmaee is currently under contract with Dinamo Zagreb until the summer of 2028, and his market value is estimated at €400,000.
This won’t be his first time in Baku, on August 3, 2022, he started for Ferencvaros in their 1–1 draw against Qarabag.
