Neftchi aims to strengthen squad with former Tottenham goalkeeper.
Idman.biz, citing Sportinfo, reports that the Baku-based club is interested in signing Tom Glover.
Neftchi has reportedly reached an agreement on several key terms with the 27-year-old Australian goalkeeper. The chances of him spending the new season in Azerbaijan are considered quite high.
Tom Glover is currently playing in England for Middlesbrough. He previously had a stint in Sweden with Helsingborgs.
In his home country, he has played for clubs such as Central Coast Mariners and Melbourne City.
Although he rose through the ranks to Tottenham’s U-23 team, he was unable to break into the first team.
The foreign goalkeeper has represented Australia at all youth levels but is yet to make his debut for the senior national team.
