Ronald Koeman says he has no plans to return to club coaching.
The 62-year-old has been leading the Netherlands national team for three years and previously managed Barcelona (2020–2021), Idman.biz reports.
Koeman explained that while his decision isn't final, the likelihood of managing a club again is very low: "With the national team, everyone comes to camp with a smile. They’re happy to see each other again and to speak Dutch. At clubs, however, you often have to work with more disappointed players. Honestly, I no longer have the energy for that, I prefer to focus solely on football matters."
Koeman’s contract with the Dutch national team runs through the end of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Koeman has also managed clubs such as Everton, Southampton, Feyenoord, AZ, Valencia, PSV, Ajax, Benfica, and Vitesse.
