The Colombian defender, currently playing for Portuguese second division club Felgueiras, has given preliminary approval to move to Azerbaijan.
Throughout his career, Banguera has played for clubs including Salgueiros, Gil Vicente, Sporting Covilha, and Mafra.
Shamakhi previously secured the transfers of Emil Suleymanov (on loan from Gabala), Oruc Mammadov, Habib Ismayilov, Diogo Balau, Karim Rossi, Cesar, David Santos, and Ricardo Apolinario.
