Erkin Ibrahimov, a member of the Kapaz board of Directors and sports advisor, has confirmed his departure from the club.
The club official spoke about the decision in a statement to Report news agency, Idman.biz reports.
He stated that his decision to resign is final: “On paper, I’m still part of the club. Since it was the weekend, I couldn’t complete the official procedures. However, the management has already been informed. My decision to leave is definite, and I plan to submit my resignation letter on Monday.”
Ibrahimov also addressed the reasons for his departure: “I’m leaving on my own accord. I no longer wish to work at Kapaz. Some people think I rushed the decision, but I actually believe I delayed it. I have principles in both football and life, and I live by them. I believe the decision I’ve made is in the best interest of all employees and staff working at Kapaz.
Erkin Ibrahimov was appointed as a board member and sports advisor of Kapaz in May of this year.
