"Despite being young, Valdas Dambrauskas has already worked with several good clubs. It’s clear that he’s a promising coach and gives hope for the future."
Idman.biz, citing Sportal.az, reports that this was stated by Ramin Guliyev, former head coach of Sabah FC, in his comments about the club's Lithuanian manager.
The Azerbaijani specialist shared his thoughts on Dambrauskas, noting that Sabah can hope for a positive result in their UEFA Europa League first qualifying round tie against Slovenia’s Celje: “Dambrauskas recently joined the team, and he’ll need some time to get to know the players. Still, I believe that even with limited time, he can handle it. Sabah’s opponent is also a strong team, they proved that in last season’s Conference League.
The fact that Dambrauskas is young is a plus. Of course, frequently changing clubs isn’t ideal. We hope he stays long-term at Sabah and does good work for the club. Every coach aims for good results. The key is to organize his work well. If the team performs well, it can lead to a longer stay. Everything depends on the results."
