Messi named MLS player of the Matchday

Lionel Messi has been named MLS Player of the Matchday.

The Argentine star scored twice and provided an assist in Inter Miami’s 4–1 victory over CF Montréal last weekend, Idman.biz reports.

This marks the third time Messi has earned the honor this season and the ninth time overall since joining MLS in 2023.

Messi has tallied 12 goals and 6 assists in 14 league appearances this season.
