The influx of Azerbaijani footballers to Kyrgyzstan continues.
Idman.biz, citing Sportinfo.az, reports that Ilkin Muradov has moved to the Central Asian republic.
He has signed a one-year contract with Abdysh-Ata, a club competing in the country’s top league.
The midfielder started last season with Shamakhi and continued with Sabail. Although he had promised to help the Sailors in the First League, he changed his mind after receiving the offer from Kyrgyzstan.
Recently, the club also signed Mirabdulla Abbasov, a forward who last played for Sabail. The 30-year-old striker, a product of Neftchi’s academy, has also played for Sumgayit.
He previously played in Latvia for Daugavpils, and has represented Sumgayit, Sabail, and Iravan clubs.
Currently, the number of Azerbaijani expatriates playing in Kyrgyzstan has reached five.
