Zira FC midfielder Eldar Guliyev is confident about his team’s chances ahead of their UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round clash against Croatian side Hajduk Split.
Speaking to Sport24.az, the 23-year-old shared his thoughts on the upcoming matches, Idman.biz reports:
“Hajduk is a strong team with experienced players. We’re expecting two tough and exciting games. But this is football, I believe both sides have an equal chance.”
Guliyev also expressed optimism about advancing further in the competition:
“I think we can overcome this stage. We need to prepare well and give our absolute best in both matches.”
The two legs of the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round are scheduled for July 24 and 31.
