Qarabag FK is ramping up its transfer activity ahead of the new season.
According to Futbolinfo.az, Idman.biz reports that the Aghdam club has parted ways with Yassine Benzia, Marko Vesovic, and Patrick Andrade, while also mutually terminating the contract of Ismayil Ibrahimli, who spent last season on loan at Zira. Most of the remaining foreign players are expected to stay with the squad, though Redon Xhixha might leave at the last moment.
The club’s management is now fully focused on filling the gaps left by departing players and strengthening key positions.
Head coach Gurban Gurbanov is reportedly targeting 6–7 new signings. While the search continues, Qarabag has already reached a preliminary agreement with four foreign players. Although their identities remain undisclosed, sources confirm that all of them are high-caliber talents.
Qarabag has secured reinforcements for the centre-back, right winger, defensive midfielder, and striker positions. Once these transfers are finalized, the club plans to pursue 2–3 more international signings.
