Another English club is reportedly interested in Azerbaijani national team forward Mahir Emreli.
Idman.biz reports, citing Sport24.az, that Derby County, currently competing in the Championship, is monitoring the 27-year-old striker closely.
The club, which won the English championship in 1972 and 1975, is the latest team to express interest in Emreli.
Earlier, another Championship side, Hull City, was also reported to have made an offer for Emreli. The Azerbaijani forward spent last season playing in Germany’s 2. Bundesliga with Nürnberg, and is said to be considering staying in Germany.
He is expected to make a decision regarding his future career in the coming weeks.
