The winner of the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League season has been decided.
According to Idman.biz, in the final match against Spain, the Portugal national team came back twice after falling behind, managed to equalize, and then won in the penalty shootout.
Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored his team’s second goal, was substituted in the 88th minute due to injury. Spanish player Alvaro Morata, who came on in the 111th minute, missed his penalty in the shootout, causing Spain’s defeat.
Thus, Portugal has won the UEFA Nations League for the second time in its history.
In the third-place match, France defeated Germany 2-0 with two unanswered goals.
