Idman.biz reports that these words were said by PFL captain Yashar Gasimov in a post-match interview with journalists following the Azerbaijan Futsal Cup final.
He commented on their decisive victory over Araz-Nakhchivan. The futsal player noted that the match, which they won 7–1, was still challenging:
“Araz-Nakhchivan has been the national champion for many years. This year, they will once again represent Azerbaijan in the Champions League. Today, our opponent was missing their foreign players, but it was still a tough game. Our local players put up strong resistance. We have many experienced futsal players in our squad. That’s why, after taking the lead, we were able to play more comfortably.”
PFL also won a silver medal in the First Division.
