The president of Sumgayit FC, Riad Rafiyev, has been accepted into the inaugural edition of the ECA Executive Leadership Program (ELP) — a joint initiative between Harvard Business School and the European Club Association (ECA).
Idman.biz reports that the club executive shared the news on his personal social media account.
He stated that the program brings together individuals who are shaping the future of football:
“Football has been a part of my life for many years, and now it's time to take that experience to the next level — to learn from the best in both business and sports. It is a great honor for me to represent Sumgayit and Azerbaijani football here.”
It should be noted that Rafiyev was appointed president of Sumgayit Football Club in 2018.
