Less than 20,000 tickets have been sold for the match between Egypt’s Al Ahly and the USA’s Inter Miami, which will take place in a stadium with a capacity of 65,326 seats.
The match is scheduled for June 15 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens and will be the opening game of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, Idman.biz reports citing The Times.
In an effort to boost attendance, FIFA has lowered ticket prices. Initially priced at 349 USD, tickets now start at 55 USD.
FIFA hopes that fans from over 130 countries will attend the tournament. The competition will continue until July 13.
