The Azerbaijan Cup final between Qarabag and Sabah attracted 7,513 spectators, setting a new attendance record for the last two seasons.
The match held at the Mehdi Huseynzade Stadium in Sumgayit marked the highest attendance in both the 2023/24 and 2024/25 Azerbaijan Cup campaigns, Idman.biz reports.
The previous record was set in the 2022/23 final, where 9,000 fans watched the clash between Neftchi and Gabala, which ended in a 1–0 win for Gabala.
In this year’s final, Sabah defeated Qarabag 3–2 in extra time, securing their first-ever Azerbaijan Cup.
