An Azerbaijani delegation has participated in an international meeting held in Bucharest, Romania, within the framework of the SCALE project.

The event took place at the headquarters of the Romanian Football Federation. Azerbaijan was represented by project coordinator Kifayat Mustafayeva and trainers Gulyana Ozcan and Ofeliya Gafarova, Idman.biz reports.

During the meeting, the delegation delivered presentations on the successful implementation of the project in Azerbaijan, including on-field activities and the integration of dual career school programs.

The two-day gathering brought together partner countries — Azerbaijan, Romania, Italy, Moldova, and Malta — to discuss the current status of the project and future strategies. Key decisions were made regarding methodology application, evaluation surveys, analysis of outcomes, feedback collection on the SCALE methodology, and final organizational planning.

The event also marked a crucial step in the planning of tournaments and the final conference of the project.

The SCALE project, launched in 2023 by AFFA, aims to support young footballers in balancing their sports and academic careers through the development of a dual career model. In Azerbaijan, the project currently includes 10 schools and 5 clubs, involving both boys and girls.
