The General Assembly of the World Minifootball Federation (WMF) was held in Baku.
Representatives from all member countries of the federation took part in the meeting, Idman.biz reports.
The session was opened by WMF President Filip Juda, who presented the agenda and praised the organization of the WMF World Cup held in Baku. He expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani leadership and the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation for hosting the tournament at such a high level, noting that the championship exceeded expectations. He added that Azerbaijan will be showcased as an example to other countries aspiring to host international events in the future.
The assembly also addressed a number of key topics related to minifootball and adopted important decisions aimed at the sport’s development. Discussions were also held regarding the results of 2024, the admission of new member countries to the federation, and the overall future of minifootball.
