On May 21, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, met with the President of the World Minifootball Federation, Filip Juda.
During the meeting, the importance of the Minifootball World Championship, being held in Baku from May 21 to June 1, was emphasized, Idman.biz reports.
It was particularly noted that Azerbaijan has successfully hosted numerous international sporting events, and confidence was expressed that the Minifootball World Championship would also be organized in accordance with the highest standards.
The development of sports was highlighted as one of the key priorities of Azerbaijan’s state policy, and the attention and care shown to athletes by the government were discussed.
The meeting also praised the measures taken to develop and popularize minifootball in the country, and matters of cooperation in this field were discussed.
