Sumgayit FC midfielder Ronaldo Vásquez has been called up to the Dominican Republic national team.
The midfielder has received an invitation to participate in matches scheduled for June, Idman.biz reports.
The Dominican Republic will play two games in the World Cup qualifiers — against Guatemala on June 7 and Dominica on June 11.
Following that, Marcelo Neveleff’s team will compete in the CONCACAF Gold Cup, featuring teams from North and Central America. Placed in Group A, the Dominican Republic will face Mexico on June 15, Costa Rica on June 19, and Suriname on June 23.
