Hans-Dieter Flick’s side visited Espanyol in the Catalan derby and came away with a 2–0 win. Lamine Yamal opened the scoring with a brilliant strike, and Fermín López sealed the result with a goal in the final seconds.
With this win, Barcelona now have 85 points, making them Spanish champions with two matches to spare. This is the club’s 28th LaLiga title in history. For comparison, Real Madrid have won the title 36 times.
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid suffered a 0–2 away defeat to Osasuna.
