The nominees for the Premier League Player of the Season award have been officially announced.
The Premier League’s press service revealed the list of contenders, Idman.biz reports.
Eight players are in the running for the prestigious title: Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood (both from Nottingham Forest); Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Ryan Gravenberch (all from Liverpool); Alexander Isak (Newcastle); Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford); and Declan Rice (Arsenal).
Notably, Mohamed Salah has already been honored as the Football Writers’ Association (FWA) Player of the Year in England this season.
