Azerbaijan will kick off the 2025/26 European season ranked 29th in the UEFA country coefficient standings.
The country will enter the new five-year cycle with 17.125 points, following the removal of results from the 2019/20 season, Idman.biz reports.
That year, Azerbaijan had earned 2.500 points, which will now be deducted from its total.
For reference, Azerbaijan finished the current cycle (2024/25 season) in 30th place, with 19.625 points.
