Turan Tovuz suffer 40th defeat in Premier League history

Turan Tovuz have reached an unwanted milestone in the Azerbaijani Premier League, recording their 40th defeat in the competition.

The western side lost 2-1 to Neftchi in Matchday 34 of the Misli Premier League, Idman.biz reports.

This landmark defeat came in their 106th top-flight match. Turan Tovuz have now suffered 21 home losses and 19 away.

Notably, the club’s first Premier League defeat dates back to August 8, 2022, when they lost 2-0 at home to Gabala.
