Mohamed Salah has been named Player of the Year by the Football Writers’ Association (FWA) in England.
The Liverpool winger was voted the Premier League’s best player of the season, Idman.biz reports.
More than 900 members of the association took part in the vote, with the Egyptian star receiving an impressive 90% of the votes — the highest share recorded in the 21st century.
By claiming this award for the third time, Salah has equaled Thierry Henry’s record. He previously won the honor in 2018 and 2022.
