Betis becomes the 12th Spanish club to play in a European final. Germany has the same number of finalist clubs, while only England surpasses them, with 15 teams having reached a final.
Before Betis, the Spanish clubs to feature in finals were Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Valencia, Sevilla, Villarreal, Athletic Bilbao, Espanyol, Alavés, Zaragoza, and Mallorca.
Betis will face Chelsea in the final.
