"Amin Rzayev's debut with the main team of Qarabag is crucial for the club's academy."
In an interview with AZERTAC, Rauf Aliyev, head coach of Qarabag’s U15 team, spoke about Amin Rzayev after his appearance with the senior team in a home match against Sumgayit in the XXXIII round of the Misli Premier League, Idman.biz reports.
The 36-year-old coach highlighted that the head coach of the main team, Gurban Gurbanov, was satisfied with the 15-year-old defender's performance: "Training with the main team will enhance Amin's skills. He will have the opportunity to learn a lot from highly skilled players. He is talented enough to receive an invitation to Azerbaijan's national team in one year."
Rauf Aliyev also expressed his belief that the young player will become one of the best in his position: "Amin Rzayev regularly communicates with other coaches from the academy, and I have also had interactions with him. He is an intelligent person who listens to advice. Amin has excellent speed and ball control. He also has many physical advantages. Currently, Elvin Cafarquliyev is considered the best left-back in Azerbaijan. I believe Amin will make a name for himself in this position in the future, as he has the potential."
Amin Rzayev, who made his debut at the age of 15 years and 204 days, set a record for the past 12 seasons. He is the sixth player in the last 15 seasons to debut before turning 16.
