Mircea Rednic, head coach of Romania’s UTA club, may soon be returning to Azerbaijan.
The 63-year-old coach has reached a preliminary agreement with Kapaz, Idman.biz reports.
In a statement to the Romanian media, Rednic confirmed that he and the Ganja-based club have come to terms on financial matters, saying: “We’ve agreed on the financial terms. We’ll finalize negotiations after the season ends.”
Rednic previously coached in Azerbaijan, leading Khazar Lankaran during the 2010–11 season. At Kapaz, he is expected to replace current head coach Azer Baghirov.
