The symbolic Team of the Week for Round 8 of the Russian Women’s Super League has been announced.
Azerbaijani national team player Nigar Mirzaliyeva has been included in the XI, Idman.biz reports.
Her club, Zenit Saint Petersburg, claimed a 2-0 victory over Rubin in Round 8, with Mirzaliyeva playing the full 90 minutes.
After eight rounds, Zenit sits third in the standings with 17 points.
