Thomas Müller has just claimed his 13th Bundesliga title.
The Bayern Munich veteran has now matched the all-time record for league titles in Europe’s Big Five leagues, Idman.biz reports.
Before Müller, only Ryan Giggs had lifted 13 league trophies — all with the same club, Manchester United. Like the Welshman, Müller has won all his gold medals with a single team, Bayern.
Müller has also equaled the record as the most decorated German footballer. With 34 career titles, he has now caught up with Toni Kroos.
