This is Shomurodov's second award this season. He was also named Roma's player of the month in February.
29-year-old forward scored two goals and made one assist in 4 games in April. He saved his team from defeat with his goal against Juventus. His only goal in the match against Verona earned Roma three important points. In the match against Inter, he contributed to his team's winning goal with a precise pass to his teammate Sule.
Roma has not lost in Serie A for 18 consecutive games and is currently ranked 6th.
