This is what Shamakhi midfielder Brahim Konate said in an interview with Sport24.az.
The 29-year-old midfielder shared his thoughts on their 1-1 away draw against Turan Tovuz in Matchday 32 of the Misli Premier League: “It’s never easy to get points in Tovuz. But we managed to do it. We need to back this up with another good result this coming weekend.”
The French player mentioned they had aimed for victory on the road: “We had opportunities to win the match, but we couldn’t capitalize on our chances. Still, it’s better not to come away empty-handed.”
Shamakhi will host Sabail in Round 33. The match will take place on May 3, kicking off at 17:00.
