Shamakhi FC has offered a contract extension to midfielder Brahim Konaté.
The 29-year-old French player confirmed the news in an interview with Sport24.az, stating that the club wants to extend his current deal, Idman.biz reports.
"Yes, I received an offer to renew the contract," Konaté said. "But as I told my agent, I’m thinking about my future. We still have four matches left in the league, and right now, I’m fully focused on those games."
Konaté joined Shamakhi in the summer of 2024. In the current season of the Misli Premier League, he has scored 8 goals in 28 appearances and added another goal in the Azerbaijan Cup.
