Former Azerbaijan national team player Rauf Aliyev has been disciplined by the AFFA Disciplinary Committee.
According to Idman.biz, the decision follows an incident during a match between Qarabag U15 and Turan Tovuz, where Aliyev, the head coach of the U15 team, was penalized for his behavior. In the 67th minute of the U15 League away match, he was shown a red card for insulting the referee.
Following the incident, the coach was found guilty of continuing to insult and threaten the referees, as well as using offensive language throughout the game. As a result, he has been handed a 5-match ban. Additionally, Qarabag was fined 500 AZN as an exceptional measure.
In another disciplinary action, Qarabag player Ogtay Mehreliyev was also shown a red card in the 80+4th minute for insulting a teammate. He has been banned for 3 matches.
