The Azerbaijan national team, consisting of women's football players, played its next game today.
Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijan has started to compete in the EURO-2025 qualifying.
Siyasat Asgarov’s players started the competition away from home in the 1st group of the B league. They returned from the trip to Hungary with one point. In the first half, the hosts opened the scoring. Sevinj Jafarzade equalized the score with a penalty kick after the break.
It should be noted that in the other game of our group, Switzerland hosted Turkiye. The home team won 3:1.
