AFFA Executive Committee held a meeting of today, the president of the organization Rovnag Abdullayev said that he will not run for the presidency. For this reason, a new team will be formed at the Report-Election conference of the association, which will be held on April 2.
According to Sadygov, Abdullayev explained the reason for his action at the meeting: "Discussions were held. Rovnag Abdullayev said that our football needs a new breath. For this reason, he stated that he will not run for the presidency of AFFA. He emphasized that he loves football and is ready to support this sport in the future."
An experienced expert who is also a member of the Executive Committee of AFFA said that if there is a need for a new staff, he can continue his work: "Rovnag Abdullayev instructed the secretariat to give the names of new candidates for the Executive Committee and hold discussions on this. If Vagif Sadygov is needed, I will resume my duties with all my heart."
